With a long family tradition in the wine industry, in 2003 Marika Drusian decided to start her winemaking journey. She purchased the first vines in the “Ru de Confin” estate, close to the city of Vittorio Veneto (TV) and she re-planted them from scratch. In 2006, she produced the first vintage of her Prosecco Superiore Althea. Today Marika owns 13 hectares of Glera grapes vineyards, cultivated paying attention to quality and practicing sustainable viticulture. The meticulous care for details, typical of the female management, is a distinctive feature of Althea. Every single activity is performed accurately, from the vine to the final bottle. Quality and elegance makes an indissoluble combination that distinguishes Althea wines in the Italian and international markets.
